According to recent statistics released by Google Inc., it shows that there are still 23.1% of Android devices in firmware version 2.2 Froyo and for all who want to root device. There is one tool that is famous for rooting called Z4Root APK.
On this section, i will share about how to rooted your Android FROYO firmware. Please note that because we understand that the root device will void the warranty, we will guide you so that you can unroot device.

Note : Please make backup of your all data, because there is a possibility that the data in the phone will be lost. So with the help of the steps mentioned below, you can easily backup data. Do not use PC Suite to back up your data because it may or may not support the roots. Minimum battery of remaining in the device must be at least 60% so as to ensure that the device could not be turn off in the middle of update firmware.
Please activated USB Debugging on your device. “Settings> Applications> Development> USB debugging”. USB Debugging option must be checked as shown in the screen capture below.
Make sure that you have disabled all antivirus suite on your computer as these tools are generally interfere with the update process firmware. Assuming that you have followed all the instructions, you can now proceed to the next step by following this instruction bellow.
Step to Root Android Phone with Z4Root APK :
Download Z4Root APK file, then connect the phone to the computer with the help of the original USB cable.
Now, connect the phone to the computer using a USB cable and place the Z4Root APK to SD Card in your device.
Disconnect the phone from the computer and open Z4root apk using file explorer to install. Once the application is installed on your phone , you can see the screenshot bellow
For permanent root, all you need to select the option to “Permanent Root” and to “Root Temporary”, you need to select the appropriate option. Please note that the roots while maintaining the device will only take root until the device reboot.
After this, you can also Unroot devices with this application by following the simple instructions on the screen.
